His calling has led him to Fort Worth\, Texas and Louisville\, Kentucky where he earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Seminary. He led the establishment of the Southern Baptists of Texas Foundation prior to returning to Georgia\, and in his studies\, he laid the foundations for his current role as GBF President with a doctoral emphasis on church endowment and cooperative missions giving. \n\nNathan Russell\, Director of Business Development of Ministry Trust\nHaving served as a worship leader in his local church and having worked as an insurance professional\, Nathan brings experience from both the ministry and business worlds to the Foundation. As the Director of Business Development\, Nathan is passionate about helping Baptist churches\, organizations\, and individuals be faithful stewards of all that God has blessed them with. \n\nAndy Weber\, Baptist Resource Network Director of Finance and Operations\nAndy serves as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Baptist Resource Network. DESCRIPTION:About the Workshop:\nThis is a one-day workshop is designed for leaders\, volunteers\, and pastors who  specifically serve with their church’s VBS. It will serve your whole VBS team by providing a time of training\, discussion\, resources\, and insights from our BRN VBS Consultant Christy Kraus. Whether you’re the VBS director\, a teacher\, crew leader\, games volunteer\, registration helper\, or decorating team member\, this workshop is for you! You’ll receive practical training\, creative ideas\, ministry resources\, and plenty of encouragement to help your church make the most of this year’s VBS. \nThis springtime training will focus specifically on equipping VBS volunteers in Lifeway’s Take Flight curriculum.
