WHO
Grover Cleveland Elementary School in Erie, PA
WHY
They are an underfunded and overlooked elementary school whose playground is lacking basic care. The district is supposed to care for the schools playground but they have neglected it. The kids are some times even restricted from playing outside after it rains because the playground has been neglected and does not drain well.
WHAT
The group will be working to re-mulch the playground, pressure wash the equipment, build a buddy bench, and assemble picnic tables. Also we will be planting flowers around the school sign/mascot in front of the school. If we have more people then we can also do some basic yard work/weed pulling to help beautify the campus
