November is right around the corner, and just as in every other season, we know that pastors want to equip their congregations to see the upcoming election season through a gospel lens.
As believers, we play a significant role in seeking the welfare of our nation, state, and community. As believers, we care about righteous policies and good governance. As believers, we want to honor God with our vote. But, ultimately, as Christians, we trust God in the process because we know that the King of Kings still reigns over all.
The Church is called to look higher, think bigger, and expect more. As David wrote in Psalm 20, “some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (Psalm 20:7)

According to some researchers, an estimated 25 Million Christians don’t vote and around 30% of evangelicals aren’t even registered. God has given us a call to be good citizens in this world and one of the ways we glorify God and love our neighbor is by voting.
- Consider doing a voter registration drive. Last day to register to vote is October 21.
- Consider using all or some of our toolkit to encourage your congregation to honor God with their vote and to Choose Well this election season.

- Consider praying for our leaders and the upcoming election.
- Consider preaching about the Biblical view on Government.
