Accelerated Internships are designed to help develop next-generation ministry leaders. This comes through a commitment to develop those leaders by offering them opportunities that foster their growth in knowledge, character, vision, and ministry skills.
What will I be doing?
We invite next-generation leaders to join us for 8-10 weeks in different regions of Pennsylvania and South Jersey. We will offer practical experiences that allow these individuals to learn and grow through those various experiences. We will work with several of our network BRN churches and church plants throughout our region to introduce individuals on how to contextually do ministry in the Northeast through missional engagement. This happens through an intentional 4 phase approach:
- Leadership Development through mentorship and coaching
- Discipleship Driven by teaching and challenging interns to always be identifying and taking their next steps in their spiritual development
- City Engagement through working with key partnerships in cities that our network has and is developing for gospel impact
- Multiplying Mindset that comes by modeling and helping interns easily replicate what they have learned in their next stop
How does it work?
We will connect applicants to work with one of our local churches or church plants within our network. They will give you hands-on ministry experience and encouraging coaching as they discover what you are passionately wired for as it relates to ministry. This could be areas, such as kids ministry, worship, student ministry, evangelism/outreach, church planting, pastoral, and creative arts.
This is a paid internship and has limited spaces. The BRN helps to provide a weekly stipend of $400, lodging option, and some meals. Interns cover any travel expenses or incidentals that may occur.
When are Internships?
Typically, these internships are over the summer months of June through August but there are some limited opportunities in the fall.
