Mark your calendars now! The Accelerate Conference, the annual meeting of the Baptist Resource Network, is Tuesday, October 4 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel.
We are excited about our special guest speaker, Shane Pruitt, National Next Gen Director for the North American Mission Board. Shane is a traveling communicator, evangelist, and Bible teacher. Every year he speaks to over a hundred thousand people about the good news of Jesus Christ. He will share valuable insights about evangelism and about reaching the next generation.
We will kick off Phase 2 of the #LovePASJ initiative at the Accelerate Conference, focusing on SHOWING Christ’s love through compassion ministries and evangelism. Shane is the perfect person to help us in this launch.
He has been in ministry for over 18 years as a denominational worker, church planter, lead pastor, and student pastor. This past year, he served as the tour speaker at the 2022 WinterJam Tour Spectacular, the United States’ largest annual Christian Music Tour.
He is the author of “9 Common Lies Christians Believe: And Why God’s Truth Is Infinitely Better,” which is available everywhere books are sold.
He has also authored many blogs and articles that have been picked up by RELEVANT, Christianity Today, The Christian Post, The Gospel Coalition, Church Leaders, The Baptist Press, and many others.
And, he is also the co-host of the podcast, “Next Gen on Mission” (available on every podcast platform) and is a monthly guest and contributor on the “Point of View Radio Show” that airs on over 300 stations nationwide.
Another fun fact, Shane and his wife, Kasi, were featured as ABC’s Nightly News “Persons of the Week” in August 2017!
