BUTLER, Pa., (BRN) – During Farm Show week, Aug. 5-10, in Butler, Pa., a dozen church members from Whitestown Road Baptist Church manned a table and shared the gospel.

Our team’s strategy was to pray, share the gospel and distribute gospel of John books to event attendees throughout each day from 2-8 p.m. Gospel conversations were mostly with children under the age of 10 years old through the use of the EvangeCube.

Prayer requests were solicited and there were several opportunities throughout the week to pray on the spot for individuals.

Pastor Bob Hurd handed out seven dozen boxes of crayons with a QR code on the back (to reach our church’s website). All team members handed out “little Jesus” figures and prayer cards to encourage community members to pray.

Using John 3:16, Pastor Bob shared the gospel with our neighbor, Amanda (a God seeker), and she said she would be joining us for worship soon. Overall, we estimate that 72 gospel conversations took place during our outreach at the farm show.
