Hello, BRN Family! It’s good to be with you today!
John 9:4 says, “We must do the works of Him who sent Me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work.”
In other words, one day it will be too late to share Jesus with others.
In anticipation of our #LovePASJ Week of Prayer and Offering for Missions, I ask you to please join us in praying for all of our BRN churches to be compassionate to those around them who do not yet know Jesus.
Even as Jesus displayed compassion, the Baptist Resource Network seeks to help churches display compassion to their communities by creating opportunities to show compassion, connecting the body of Christ to the broken, and cultivating transformation.
The goal is authentic regenerative relationships through ministries, such as disaster and crisis relief, efforts to confront food insecurity and poverty, educational assistance like GED and English as a Second Language support and ministry to community schools, and trauma care in the face of life’s challenging mental, spiritual and physical health issues.
There are many gateways through which churches can connect with their community, show compassion, and ultimately introduce individuals to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what the “SHOW” phase of the #LovePASJ initiative is all about.
In fact, the #LovePASJ Week of Prayer and Offering for Missions seeks to help churches in these endeavors. Would you join us in praying for God to move in a mighty way as we love our neighbors across Pennsylvania and South Jersey? Thank you!
