PHILADELPHIA (BRN) – Great Commission Church (GCC) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, made it their goal to provide a week of biblical enrichment, Bible based crafts, activities and games and spiritual direction for kids in their community during this year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS).
During the last week in July, GCC led kids through a fun-filled week of learning about Jesus. The gospel was shared through Bible stories, designed Bible lessons, the memorization of Bible verses and a daily recap of information and events.
A total of 40 gospel conversations were had, with three individuals coming to Christ through the week-long VBS. The VBS concluded with a block party for all of the kids and their families. At which, some of the VBS students were baptized! Praise the Lord for these new brothers and sisters in Christ!
