BRN Ethnic pastors are blessed by a day on the river
On April 20, ethnic pastors in the Greater Philadelphia area – Rev. Roger Manao, Rev. Ernst Petit-Frere, and Rev. Philip Draper – enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship on the Spirit of Philadelphia Dinner Cruise as part of a BRN pastoral blessing led by Noelson Chery, BRN ethnic church health consultant.
BRN Director of church health and evangelism highlights the viewpoint of pastors’ wives in second book
The Pastors’ Wives’ Diaries is a masterpiece of passionate and transparent confessions by voices that must be heard, and never to be ignored or silenced again. Pastor Larry Anderson, who serves as BRN’s director of church health and evangelism, is back with his second entry in the highly acclaimed Pastors’ Diaries Series. This time he is being joined by First Lady Christine O. James, wife of Pastor Paul James of CareView Community Church in Lansdowne, Pa., and 14 gifted First Ladies.
Each heartfelt contribution in this book takes you deeper and deeper below the surface into a world often seen only from a distance. The transparency in the writings is unparalleled, and the vulnerability displayed is downright heroic. You are guaranteed to never look at the First Family in your church the same way again. BRN churches report over a thousand baptisms in SBC Annual Church Profile
The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has released the results of each state convention’s Annual Church Profile. In Pennsylvania/South Jersey, our churches reported over 1,600 baptisms for 2023 and more than 20,000 members in 268 SBC churches across PA/SJ! Great job, BRN Family! Thank you to every church who completed an Annual Church Profile and contributed to these results!
Restored Church hosts BRN director of church health and evangelism for Sunday worship
On May 5, Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and Pastor Tim Walker welcomed special guest preacher Dr. Larry Anderson, BRN director of church health and evangelism and senior pastor of Great Commission Church in Philadelphia, Pa.
In a Facebook post, Walker reflected on the day, “Dr. Anderson and the entire Baptist Resource Network team have invested so much in what God is doing at Restored. Beyond his message, we had a great time at lunch learning and laughing together with our families!” What a beautiful picture of the BRN Family encouraging and building each other up!
