Hello, BRN Family. It’s good to be with you today.
You probably know the first Thursday in May is National Day of Prayer. On this occasion, we join in the prayers of our fellow brothers and sisters all over our nation.
But for our BRN team, every day is a day of prayer. On the first Thursday of every month, our BRN team unites together to fast and pray, devoting the morning for praying over our BRN churches, ongoing projects, and personal concerns that we know about. Our team also prays during meetings, trainings, and personal interactions with our churches and pastors. We believe in the power of prayer.
I know there is never a movement of God separate from prayer. Throughout history, any time there has been revival or awakening, it is because God’s people are praying. We believe at the BRN that one of the things we can do as a priority on our team is to pray.
Scripture says that “unless the Lord builds a house, its builders labor over it in vain” (Psalm 127:1 CSB). Clearly, the task of pushing back lostness in Pennsylvania/South Jersey is very large, which requires the Lord’s hand in all that is attempted. As we have increased our shared prayer times, I am sensing greater unity and direction for the work that we do across Pennsylvania/South Jersey.
During the pandemic, we established a Pastor Prayer Line, 800.451.6599 x7, where pastors can leave confidential prayer requests, only heard by and prayed for by our trained disaster relief chaplains. Even now, pastors, you are urged to solicit prayer as needed.
Know that we are regularly praying for you, and thank you for listening in today. God bless you!
