Serve Tour Philly set for September 15-16, 2023

Hello BRN Family!

You know, here at the BRN we are so thankful to have great partners like the North American Mission Board. They help us in so many different ways, and one of the key organizations of the North American Mission Board is Send Relief. They serve to help churches engage in a variety of compassion ministries throughout North America and, really, throughout the world. I am excited to announce that Send Relief has chosen one of our cities to bring their nationwide SERVE TOUR. It is going to be an exciting new missional experience. It’s coming soon to the city of Philadelphia.

I want you to take your calendars right now and save the date! On September 15-16, 2023, we invite churches all across our network to care for hurting communities in and around Philadelphia by serving local churches, bi-vocational pastors, low-income schools and other organizations in need of some assistance. Projects can include things, like some light construction, painting, landscaping, sports camps, block parties… you name it! We want to serve the city well.

We’d love to see churches in and around Philly all participating in this incredible weekend of compassion ministry. And we’re urging other regions throughout our nation to come and help join us as we serve.

The goal of the Serve Tour is to be the vehicle through which churches demonstrate the love of Christ in the city by engaging in compassion ministry. What a difference we could make! By partnering with the Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania and South Jersey, Send Relief is making it easy for you and your team to have a real, lasting impact in the lives of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable. And our goal and our hope is to start a movement that goes far beyond that weekend.
