The Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania/South Jersey partnered with three local churches – Millcreek Community Church, Harborcreek Community Church and Walnut Creek Baptist Church – and one ministry organization, Erie City Mission, in Erie, Pennsylvania, for the inaugural Serve PA/SJ initiative, Sept. 20-21.

During the Serve PA/SJ weekend, 294 volunteers from across Pennsylvania and South Jersey, and even some from Florida and South Carolina, completed 19 service projects around the city of Erie. These volunteers represented a total of 31 churches, 27 of those BRN churches, and seven partnering organizations. Over the course of two-days, 3,448 people were served and 306 gospel conversations took place.
