The Accelerate Conference, the annual meeting of the Baptist Resource Network, is Tuesday, October 8 at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg‑Hershey in Grantville, Pa., just outside of Harrisburg. Please note: This is a new location this year!. EARLY bird registration and our discounted hotel registration ends at midnight on September 8, so don’t wait to register! #2- Have you heard about the Accelerate Conference yet? Of course, you have! We are excited about keynote speakers: our very own Barry Whitworth, BRN’s Executive Director, and Larry Anderson, BRN’s director of church health. They will seek to boldly proclaim God’s energizing power in their keynote presentations and will unveil the BRN’s “Next Level Conversation Starter.” This piece is designed to encourage and assist BRN churches to move to their next level in ministry. #3- At this year’s Accelerate Conference, you may attend two of the 12 one-hour breakout sessions from bold speakers who will challenge BRN churches and pastors to be bold in every aspect of ministry. #4- At this year’s Accelerate Conference, members from Fellowship CrossPoint Church in Chesterfield, N.J., will wrap all the sessions with worship, helping us to remember to keep our focus on our mighty God. #5- One more reminder about this year’s Accelerate Conference: On the Monday evening preceding the conference, you will have the opportunity to participate in a dessert fellowship and a hearty whiteboard discussion about bold dreams for the future of the churches in the Baptist Resource Network or a Legacy Planning Workshop for pastors and their church members to understand the importance of preparing for the future.
