WILKES-BARRE, PA, (BRN) – In June 2023, Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, purchased a variety of gospel materials in Spanish to share with the growing Hispanic community in our city.
Restored purchased a total of 363 gospel centered materials by using funds from a Baptist Resource Network (BRN) Evangelism Grant – such as Bibles, New Testaments, gospel tracts, etc. – to hand out at multiple events. During our food distribution, we were able to give out some Bibles to the Hispanic families that we serve, while through our prison ministry we partnered with a local Spanish pastor who has access and relationships with the county prison and were able to distribute a handful of Bibles and New Testaments in the prison. Though we do not know how many people accepted Christ as a result of these materials, we are hopeful that the Lord will use them to bring those in need of Him to himself.
