WILKES-BARRE, Pa., (BRN) – At Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, we were able to host a baby shower on Jan. 28 for a number of young ladies who have chosen life for their baby.
We completed walking with them weekly for a number of months and were able to see them grow in their journey. From growing these relationships, we were able to have them invite their family and friends along with a number of ladies in our church who have been walking with them to a special, joint baby shower.
We saw a total of 30 people attend the baby shower. Out of those people, we anticipate that six gospel conversations took place.
The gospel has also been shared with the young, soon-to-be mothers through numerous conversations over the last few months by those who have been trained to walk through the Timothy Initiative. The gospel was also shared to the group at the shower.
What a blessing this was!
