Baptist Resource Network Executive Director Barry Whitworth asks BRN churches to pray for Serve Erie, the #LovePASJ Offering for Missions in Pennsylvania/South Jersey, and the upcoming Accelerate Conference.

Hello, BRN Family! It’s good to be with you today.

This year’s #ServePASJ project in Erie, Pennsylvania, is right around the corner on September 20-21. I am thrilled to say several churches and individuals have signed up to do a variety of projects benefiting individuals and organizations in Pennsylvania’s poorest zip code. Registration closes on September 13, so sign up today at servepasj.com.

Also, will you please pray? Pray that God moves through these volunteers in special ways as they display humility, kindness and love to the residents of Erie. Pray that those touched by the acts of compassion will have their eyes and hearts opened to the Gospel, and that many would be drawn into a relationship with Jesus. Also pray for safety and good health for everyone involved (and dare I say it) for good weather so that nothing hinders the work of God in this city. Thank you for praying!
