Hello, BRN Family! It’s good to be with you today.
This year’s #ServePASJ project in Erie, Pennsylvania, is right around the corner on September 20-21. I am thrilled to say several churches and individuals have signed up to do a variety of projects benefiting individuals and organizations in Pennsylvania’s poorest zip code. Registration closes on September 13, so sign up today at servepasj.com.
Also, will you please pray? Pray that God moves through these volunteers in special ways as they display humility, kindness and love to the residents of Erie. Pray that those touched by the acts of compassion will have their eyes and hearts opened to the Gospel, and that many would be drawn into a relationship with Jesus. Also pray for safety and good health for everyone involved (and dare I say it) for good weather so that nothing hinders the work of God in this city. Thank you for praying!
While we are praying, could you also pray for our annual #LovePASJ Offering for Missions in Pennsylvania/South Jersey? Several of our churches are highlighting this special offering this week. Did you know? 100% of this offering stays right here in Pennsylvania and South Jersey and supports ministry to our mission field, most notably in the areas of NextGen Ministry, Compassion Ministry, Disaster Relief, and Emergency Assistance for Pastors. Thank you for praying, and thank you for giving!
And one more prayer request: Please pray for our October 8 Accelerate Conference. I ask that you pray for our two keynote presenters, breakout leaders, and four pastors who will give testimony of how God has led them to do creative things to take their church to the next level. We trust this will be an inspiring day in the Lord. Please pray Jesus draws everyone who needs to be encouraged and equipped to join us! It’s not too late to sign up at acceleratepasj.com.
Please know that my team and I often remember you in our prayers, too. May the Lord use you in a mighty way to fight back the lostness in our region and beyond. We are thankful for you!
As always, thanks for listening in and God bless you.
