WALLINGFORD, Pa., (BRN) – On a normal week, The Foundry in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, serves 50-65 families. Included in that are a mix of refugee families, mostly from Ukraine.

The Foundry has been designated by Feed America as one of the healthy pantries in the Philadelphia region. It is also one of the few pantries that allow clients to shop for groceries. This reduces waste and, in most cases, provides families with exactly what they need.

An example of a typical shopping list used at The Foundry’s pantry.

BRN churches who would like to know more or desire to partner with The Foundry are asked to contact Senior Pastor Chuck Kieffer.

Additionally, Pastor Chuck has asked for prayer support as he and his wife pray for future leadership.

Currently, the Kieffers not only serve Delaware county, but also mentor college students in nonprofit leadership.

They are praying for a self-supporting missionary couple to join their team, who would one day take over the leadership of their resource center. Ideally, Kieffer would like to have the couple follow them around for 18 months to gain insight into their contacts and resources that they’ve developed over the last 20 years and, then, set up the passing of the torch in time.

BRN churches can contact Pastor Chuck Kieffer, regarding any of the above items, by emailing chuck@thefoundrychurch.org.
