NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa., (BRN) – Pennsylvania/South Jersey (PA/SJ) WMU held their annual meeting at Red Land Baptist Church in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The theme of the day was “What Joy!” Chris and Debbie Mauger, International Mission Board (IMB) missionaries from Bangladesh, were our featured missionaries and speakers for the day.
In the morning, attendees attended mini sessions on WMU materials that are available for mission education in their church. After lunch, small breakout sessions were offered. The day ended with music and Debbie Mauger sharing her testimony on joy.
Eight middle school and high school girls also met and spent their time learning about missions and WMU’s compassion ministry Pure Water/Pure Love.
They were led by former missionary kid Emily Fyfe. The girls heard testimonies from Bekah Noble, campus missionary at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and Debbie Mauger.
