WILKES-BARRE, Pa., (BRN) – One of the ladies at Restored Church, located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, has been putting together small bags of items that are needed for women on their cycle.

She then takes those bags around to the homeless women in the inner city of Wilkes-Barre as well as numerous ladies that are in need through various of our ministries as well as some partners.

We empowered her to gather some ladies together and pack a significant amount of these bags in preparation for the winter.

This ministry is giving her repeated interactions with the same ladies, which has allowed her to build a relationship and share Christ with them.

A new ministry at Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., seeks to bless local women with essential toiletries.

In gathering a team, she’s now empowering multiple women to help her in the distribution and connection. They held a small party and were able to pack 500 additional bags, with each bag containing multiple care items as well as the gospel of John and the story of salvation.

So far this year, they have given out an average of 100 bags per month in the city and are now stocked up with enough to get through the winter. Praise God!
