#4: Iron Sharpens Iron. Nine topics. Nine months. Iron Sharpens Iron is a virtual conversation series that will take place at 3 p.m. on the second Monday of every month through November. It is designed to give BRN pastors the space to talk to other BRN pastors about evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, compassion ministry, reaching the next generation, and other prominent ministry topics. This month’s topic, to be held March 13, is discipleship. Sign up today at brnunited.org/events.
#5: Mark Sunday, April 16, on your calendars because it’s the day Southern Baptists are setting aside as Baptism Sunday this year! Churches are encouraged to call their people to respond to the gospel, celebrate professions of faith in response to evangelism, and encourage new believers to take their next step in their walk with Jesus. Churches are also encouraged to use the hashtag #FillTheTank on social media to share video/photographs from their services, so the Southern Baptist family can celebrate with them! Thank you!
