#1- The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and Week of Prayer is March 7-14. One hundred percent of gifts are used to support thousands of Southern Baptist missionaries serving across the United States and Canada. I urge you to pray for our North American missionaries and challenge your church to give and support their work through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Thank you.
#2- Speaking of Easter, the Baptist Resource Network has evangelism grants available for churches to purchase spring devotionals, for outreach distribution. Churches interested in purchasing either The Easter Code or The Apostles’ Code, available at 99 cents each, may apply for a $50 evangelism grant toward their purchase. #3- To the aim of pushing back lostness, you will start hearing about the BRN’s new missional framework for engaging our neighbors in Pennsylvania & South Jersey called #LovePASJ (or Love Pennsylvania/South Jersey). Over the next few years, we will unveil a three-phase plan to LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS all across Pennsylvania/South Jersey. We will start with the first phase, “KNOW,” and will provide resources and encouragement to churches to love their neighbor(s) through prayer-walking, community exegesis, and adopting neighborhoods for Christ. Please stay tuned for all the exciting details!
#4- SAVE THE DATE! The annual business session and gathering of the Baptist Resource Network is moving from November to Tuesday, October 5. This “Accelerate Conference,” to feature author, church consultant and ministry entrepreneur, Will Mancini as the keynote speaker, will be held at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel, pandemic permitting. Watch brnunited.org for all the emerging plans.
