#2- Did you know the #LovePASJ initiative, among other ministries, is supported by the #LovePASJ offering (formerly known as the State Missions Offering)? This year’s offering goal is $50,000. Please check your mailbox soon for a variety of materials to help you participate in the #LovePASJ Week of Prayer and Offering, which is traditionally held the second week of September. #3- Local pastors and leaders from the Baptist Resource Network are partnering with Send Relief to serve Philadelphia in the upcoming Sept. 15-16 Serve Tour Philly. Registration will open on July 31 for churches to choose their specific project, which includes helping with block parties, food distribution, landscape beautification, ministry to college students, and more. #4- This summer, women all across the BRN are invited to participate in a Summer Seminar focused on the topic of “Setting Healthy Boundaries” at a location nearest you. Two more dates are available: in the Western region, we will meet at Pittsburgh Baptist Church on July 15, and in the Philly/South Jersey region, we will meet at Macedonia Baptist Church in Philadelphia on August 19. #5- Speaking of summer, we urge you to take advantage of BRN Evangelism grants for your summer plans to share the gospel. Maybe you need funds to reach your community? Maybe you want to train your church in evangelism? You may apply for evangelism grants specifically to support and promote outreach events and evangelistic efforts. We’d love to help!
