It’s ACP time!

Baptist Resource Network churches are invited to start filling out this year's Annual Church Profile through the SBC Workspace -- or new this year -- a special SurveyMonkey link.

The Annual Church Profile (ACP) collects data that is used by the SBC Executive Committee and by the Baptist Resource Network to measure the health and growth of our churches. The BRN uses this vital data to effectively plan events, strategize resources, and evaluate the needs of our churches.

Your average weekly attendance is asked as part of the regular ACP questions. This question should be answered based on your normal church year as you have answered it in the past.

In addition to this attendance question, the BRN is asking specific COVID-19 related attendance questions in our Supplemental Survey. Specifically we would like to know your church’s weekly attendance based on the SBC fiscal year (October 1, 2019-September 30, 2020), pre- and post-COVID. There are also questions about in-person and virtual attendance. The questions are easy to answer and help us at the BRN to understand your individual church situation and how you have navigated the pandemic.

To make answering all these questions easier, we have combined the ACP Survey and the Supplemental Survey together in a SurveyMonkey survey. This is a new and easier way for you to enter all your ACP data. The SurveyMonkey link is www.surveymonkey.com/r/BRN2020ACP.

NAMB Quarterly Reports populate the SBC ACP during the first three years of planting, so only the Supplemental Surveys are needed for those Church Planters. A separate survey has been created if you fall into that category and that survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/BRNCP2020ACP.

We are asking that all churches fill out their ACP data either through SurveyMonkey or Workspace no later than February 15, 2021.

Per the SBC Constitution, the SBC Credentials Committee uses your reported Undesignated Receipts and Cooperative Program giving each year to determine your church’s messenger eligibility. Your ACP reported membership also determines the number of messengers your church can send to the BRN Annual Business Session.

Elizabeth, executive assistant to Barry Whitworth, formerly served as the administrative assistant at Stewartstown Baptist Church, where she also served as their Sunday school secretary, Cubbies director, and children’s bell choir director. She currently sings on the praise team and helps lead the children’s Christmas program.
