GREENCASTLE, Pa., (BRN) – On Sept. 30, 2023, Greencastle Baptist Church in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, hosted the community at our church for a Builder’s Bash (Children-in-Action Kick-Off). We provided lunch, games and prizes for children. The event ran from 12-2 p.m. and we advertised via facebook, fliers, the church sign and posters around town.
The turnout was very low, possibly due to busy fall schedules; however, we still shared the gospel via personal evangelism using the evangacube and optical illusion tracts.
Although the gospel was shared with fewer than ten people, it was a great opportunity for some of our congregants to gain experience sharing the gospel one-on-one in a low pressure environment.
We will follow up with those who did attend, encouraging them to attend the weekly Children-in-Action meetings, where we can further share the gospel and continue in discipleship for new believers.
