CHESTERFIELD, NJ (BRN) – This past summer, Fellowship CrossPoint Church in Chesterfield, New Jersey, sent a total of 13 church members, primarily youth students, on a week long mission trip to Chicago, Illinois. The mission trip was an amazing experience and we are grateful for the Baptist Resource Network’s (BRN) support to help make the trip happen.
We brought a team of nine high school students and four leaders to Chicago for the week, staying in a local church there. We worked with various ministries that are serving in the city where students got to see tangible ways that they can make their lives count by serving others.
We also did an evangelism training with all of our students and then broke them up into groups and went around downtown Chicago to have gospel conversations. Many saw the fruit in their own lives from those conversations and were challenged to have more of them at home. God used the trip greatly!
