CHESTERFIELD, NJ (BRN) – Fellowship CrossPoint Church in Chesterfield, New Jersey, in partnership with the local public elementary school, was able to pack 100,000 meals on Dec. 9-10 for their 2022 Hunger Stops With Us outreach.
This outreach pulled together Fellowship CrossPoint members and community volunteers from the Chesterfield, New Jersey, area to pack meals for children in Ecuador. These meals will feed 150 kids every day for an entire year!
During the packing event at our church, we were able to share the gospel about how God cares about both our spiritual hunger and our physical hunger. In their goodie bag, they received a card that shares the why of our event.
This event has also been a catalyst for us to connect to other organizations outside of our church. It has given us access to the elementary school, Girl Scouts, local high school students, civil air patrol and our local police. At the school, we were able to build relationships so that we will be able to plant a good news club and a Sunday Night Children’s ministry at the school.Thank you for your support of the work of our church!
