Hey BRN Family, Elizabeth here and it’s time for the February Top 5!

#1: As we embark on another year of ministry, it’s time to consider how God has moved this past year. Could you let us know? We are asking all BRN churches to fill out their Annual Church Profile (ACP) data through a new electronic form on brnunited.org/acp no later than February 15, 2025. Any questions can be directed to our HelpDesk, helpdesk@brnunited.org, or text or call (717) 652-5856. Thank you!

#2: It may feel like winter, but it’s not too late to start planning for summer! What is your missions strategy for your church this summer? Do you have one? The Baptist Resource Network is here to help you start planning your summer outreach through an all-day Summer Mission Strategy Workshop on February 20 at the Harrisburg Hub. This training will help you establish visionary goals and break them down into smaller achievable steps, apply for evangelism grants, and so much more. Learn more at brnunited.org/summer.

#3: Speaking of evangelism, did you know it’s time to sign up for the Advance Evangelism Conference? This conference, helpful for all church members, will be held on March 17 at Country and Town Baptist Church in Mechanicsburg, Pa. This year’s Advance will feature keynote speakers, James Roberson, pastor of The Bridge Church in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Dr. Lee Clamp, associate executive director-treasurer of the South Carolina Baptist Convention; Seven of Messiah University, who will lead worship; and several practical breakout sessions. Learn more at advancepasj.com.

#4: I am sure you have noticed that our world continues to experience devastation and destruction from natural disasters, such as hurricanes and fires. What can we do? Glad you asked! You and your church members are invited to take part in the BRN’s spring disaster relief trainings. Advanced Disaster Relief Training is hands-on, on-site instruction for Disaster Relief volunteers who have completed Basic Disaster Relief Training and met the background check requirement. Multiple courses are offered for volunteers. Haven’t done the Basic training? No worries! You can do that all online at brnunited.org/courses. Learn more at brnunited.org/dr.

#5: Speaking of disasters, the BRN is thankful for all the churches who have chosen to pray, give, and go to help individuals and families affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The BRN seeks to continue financially helping affected individuals and families through Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart gift cards. That way, families can purchase exactly what they need as they rebuild their homes and lives. If you are interested in giving, please visit online at brnunited.org/helene. One hundred percent of your designated gifts will be used in Helene disaster relief efforts. Thank you!

That’s all for February. Thanks for watching, BRN Family. We appreciate you and we are thankful for you!
