Hi BRN Family, Elizabeth here, and it’s time for the February Top 5!

#1. The Baptist Resource Network team is excited about the Advance Evangelism Conference to be held March 21 at Calvary Church in State College. Speakers for this inaugural conference include Ed Stetzer, Executive Director of the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center; Daniel Yang, Director of the Send Institute; and our very own Larry Anderson, David Ludwig, and Chris Betner. Worship will be led by Seven of Messiah University. The conference is free but there is an optional lunch available for $10. Sign up today at advancepasj.com.

#2. Sunday, February 6 is George Liele Church Planting, Evangelism, and Missions Sunday, during which Southern Baptists celebrate the work and leadership of Black and African American Southern Baptist missionaries and to recognize the legacy of George Liele. Liele is was a freed Georgia slave who came to Christ, gave his life to sharing Christ with others, and now is recognized as one of the fathers of the modern missionary movement. #3. Speaking of missions… promotional materials, such as bulletin inserts, prayer guides, collection envelopes and other materials, are now available for churches to use as they observe the Annie Armstrong Easter Week of Prayer and Offering for North American missions. Materials will be mailed to our BRN churches this week. Additional materials can be either downloaded or ordered directly from AnnieArmstrong.com/resources, where you will also find missionary stories, videos and social graphics. Thank you for supporting this vital offering!

#4. Also vital is the Southern Baptist Convention’s unified giving plan, the Cooperative Program. This ongoing offering is the financial fuel for reaching every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation. Truly, we can do more together, and we are grateful for your generous contributions.
