Hello, BRN Family! It’s good to be with you today!
At the Accelerate Conference this month, we had the privilege of hearing from Sasha and Vita Livantsov of Voices of Ukraine. In addition to leading us into powerful worship, the couple shared their story of how God allowed them to help refugees displaced by the Ukrainian – Russian War.
We want to help refugees as well. To that end, we unveiled a winter coat drive and love offering to help displaced Ukrainians transition into winter. At the conference, we requested churches fill up backpacks full of winter items, such as hats, gloves/mittens, scarfs, socks and other winter clothing.
The deadline for these collections is Sunday, November 6. (See collection sites on BRN’s website.) BRN Disaster Relief volunteers will pick up the supplies on November 7-9 and will bring them back to the Hub in Harrisburg for processing.
In addition, the BRN will send nearly $40,000 to its partners on the ground ministering to displaced Ukrainians to purchase needed coats and other winter supplies. We are so thankful for the generous gifts from our BRN family and from Send Relief and others in our greater SBC family, who are making this happen.
