Knob Noster, Missouri is a young and transient community and home to Whiteman Air Force Base. Because Craig and Maggie Coppenbarger had military experience, they believed they’d be a good fit to launch a new church in the community.
With many people in the community being away from home, God has allowed Valor Church to be a “home away from home.” Valor Church is consistently drawing people to this ministry who have never been to church before. Valor Church operates a coffee shop in the community, too. This coffee shop provides the church with a presence in the heart of the community, giving Valor Church additonal opportunities to engage people with the gospel who would never enter a church.
The Cooperative Program supports and encourages missionaries’ work to reach the people of Knob Noster with the good news about Jesus.
Pray for Valor Church’s residency program, which is training people called into ministry for future mission work.
