North America contains hundreds of ethnic groups, many of whom have recently immigrated.
An estimated 25,000 Mongolians live in the United States. Only an estimated 2.2 percent of Mongolians are Christian. Many identify as Buddhist, even if they mainly do so because of tradition. In a Mongolian’s adjustment to life in North America, a missionary who understands the language and culture can be a great resource. That’s why Mojic and Munko Baldandorj have dedicated themselves to reaching Mongolians and focused on planting as many churches as they can. In 2020, they transitioned to Oakland, California, in order to focus on reaching the Mongolian population there.
THE COOPERATIVE PROGRAM is the financial fuel for reaching every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation. Your support through the Cooperative Program helps fund ministries like the Baldandorjes that reach the nations living in North America with the Gospel of Jesus.
PRAY for Mojic and his family as they plant new churches in cities and regions that have a significant population of Mongolian people and that the people they reach will come to know Jesus as their Savior.
