Hello, BRN Family! It’s good to be with you today.
Congratulations! You made it through Easter! Thank you for all your hard work and planning to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. We are hearing incredible stories from all over our network of churches, who experienced great attendance, held baptisms, and engaged their communities. Bravo! Well done.
No doubt, you are tired from all the preparations, but I want to encourage you to not let up just yet! Now is the time to make certain all your hard work counts.
What do I mean by that? I want to encourage you to not forget to do follow-up with all of your guests! Be sure to send a “We are so glad you came!” note, email, text, or phone call to let your guests know you valued their participation. Use that communication to remind them of future services and events they are also welcome to attend.
On your social media channel, consider inviting guests to ask questions about your sermon or ask them for their ideas and opinions on how to serve them and their community. Maybe you could host a ministry fair or another fun event as soon as possible to invite guests to come and explore more about your church. You could see that the opportunities are endless!
But hear me on this… do take time to rest! You deserve it. No matter the outcome of your Easter service, God is faithful! He is worthy. Your work is not in vain!
Remember the Apostle Paul’s advice: “Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Please know that our prayers are for you and for your church during this season and more. As always, the Baptist Resource Network stands ready to assist you in whatever season you are in. Always feel free to contact us at the Help Desk at helpdesk@brnunited.org or 717-652-5856.
Thanks for listening in and God bless you, as always.
