PHILADELPHIA (BRN) – Baptist Resource Network (BRN) evangelism grants can be used year-round! Last summer, Bedrock Church Fishtown in Philadelphia hosted a water-themed event for families in their community.
At Summer Splash, we had bounce houses, water games, concessions, a prayer tent and face painting. Volunteers from Bedrock Fishtown were trained and equipped with handouts for the event.
The event was well attended by the community with 200+ kids coming and enjoying the event. In total, we estimate that 300 people attended and 10 gospel conversations took place.
We have one family in particular that has begun to attend Bedrock regularly and get involved in many of the other ministries. Their testimony is incredible and we are grateful for how the Lord used Summer Splash to open the door for the gospel.
