Hi BRN Family, Elizabeth here and it’s time for the April Top 5!
#1: Thank you to all who came to the Advance Evangelism Conference in State College on March 18. We heard powerful and encouraging messages about evangelism, worshiped, prayed, and networked with each other. Want to hear it all again? You can watch the keynote and breakout replays, posted at advancepasj.com.
#2: The BRN’s Disaster Relief team will host two more Advanced Disaster Relief trainings this spring: one on April 5-6 at Country & Town Baptist Church in Mechanicsburg, and one on April 26-27 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Erie. A prerequisite online Disaster Relief 101 course is easily accessible to all who want to dive into a disaster relief ministry. To learn more, visit online at brnunited.org/dr.
#3: Also, this year, the BRN will host D-Life Bootcamps at the Advanced Disaster Relief trainings. In these sessions, we will unpack the core principle of a highly effective disciple-making movement and how to rekindle it in your ministry. You don’t have to be a disaster relief volunteer to attend the D-Life training, nor do you have to take this training to be a disaster relief volunteer. It’s simply another great opportunity to learn about discipleship! Learn more at brnunited.org/transform.
#4: By popular request, BRN’s Woven Women will host three regional Empowered Conferences for women on how to read and teach Scripture this year. Women’s leaders throughout the BRN are invited to participate at the location nearest you! The conferences will be held in the West region at Rolling Hills Baptist Church on March 18; the South Jersey/Philadelphia regions at Fellowship Crosspoint Church on August 10; and the Central region at the BRN Volunteer House on September 7. Cost is $10 per person, which includes lunch and materials. To learn more and register, visit brnunited.org/women.
#5: Now that Easter is behind us, we know many churches are looking ahead to their summer missions opportunities. Do you need an evangelism grant to support your evangelistic outreaches? If so, simply apply at brnunited.org/grant. Also, just in time for summer planning, we are hosting a VBS Swap Shop, an online resource where churches can share their VBS decorations and leftover materials. Churches interested in sharing and those in need of borrowing supplies can go to brnunited.org/vbs-shop-swap to learn more.
That’s all for April. Thanks for watching, BRN Family. We appreciate you and we are thankful for you!
