PHILADELPHIA (BRN) – Back in July, 2023, Agape International Baptist Church in Philadelphia served our community through a gas evangelism event.
We used evangelism grant funds provided by the Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania/South Jersey (BRN) to provide free gas to community members. As people pulled into the gas station, we had church members ready to chat with them as they waited their turn or as we filled up their car with gas.
The evangelism was awesome! We met over 50 people and had the opportunity to talk about Jesus, pray with community members and give out salvation tracts.
Although we do not know how many came to Christ as a result of this event, we are certain our community saw the love of Christ and that the Lord planted seeds!
