As you may know, a lot is happening at Pennsylvania’s State Capitol in Harrisburg from heated debates in the chambers to a busy rotunda to impassioned committee meetings. There is no question that the tensions are high and now more than ever a light must shine in what has become an even darker people’s house. We, along with the gospel message of Christ, are that light and we have an opportunity to shine.
With that in mind, the Church Ambassador Network (CAN) is excited to resume their Clergy Prayer Team mission at the Capitol. This will be a time to visit and pray with various legislators and their staff as CAN continues its efforts to make an impact in our State Assembly. It would be such an amazing blessing to have the presence of local pastors and church leaders join them in these opportunities.
CAN is looking to schedule the visits during specific session days for the next six months. Here are the days they have signaled for the clergy prayer time:
- Tuesday, April 25th
- Tuesday, May 9th
- Tuesday, June 6th
- Tuesday, June 20th
- Tuesday, June 27th
The start time will be at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at about 1:00 p.m. including lunch.
