We have created a NEW partnership with Converge Coaching and MyCounselor.Online. These programs offer recipients opportunities for spiritual, emotional, and mental health wellness.
There are 50 slots available per year for lead/senior or campus lead pastors on a first come, first serve basis.*
Converge Coaching
Converge Coaching is a Christian coaching organization providing coaching, cohorts, and coach training to local church pastors and denominational leaders. MyCounselor.Online is a faith-based group of counselors in Neuroscience-Informed Therapy, providing both support and resources.

The Baptist Resource Network will subsidize coaching or counseling, geared toward the lead/senior or campus lead pastor, as follows:
Year One:
The BRN will cover 6 sessions of coaching or counseling per year at a discounted rate of $140 per session. The BRN will cover 80% ($112) of each session, and the pastor is responsible for paying the remaining 20% ($28 per session).
This offer applies to lead/senior and campus lead pastors. Additional sessions can be continued, but the pastor would be responsible for 100% of the cost after completing the original six sessions at $140 per session.
Year Two, if needed:
The BRN will cover 50% ($70) of each session, and the pastor is responsible for paying the remaining 50% ($70 per session).
Year Three, if needed:
Our partners will continue to offer the discounted per session services, but the church or individual will pay 100% of that cost. We strongly urge churches to consider adding this valuable service to their annual budget.
All coaching and counseling will take place online.
This benefit will start in January 2025.
*This Coaching/Counseling benefit is limited to the first 50 lead/senior and campus lead pastors from cooperating BRN churches. Cooperating churches are those who are currently and actively giving to the Cooperative Program and have filled out the Annual Church Profile (ACP) for the most recent year.
Converge Coaching will operate as a liaison for the BRN for coaching as well as counseling through MyCounselor.Online. We value your privacy and confidentiality. Therefore, Converge Coaching will operate as our liaison, handling all aspects of your information. The Baptist Resource Network will not know who is utilizing this benefit or anything about your counseling/ coaching sessions.
If you or a family member would like to continue the counseling or coaching relationship after you have used the 6 sessions covered by the Baptist Resource Network, you can continue at the discounted rate of $140 per session.
Yes! Your wife and/or dependent child can use this benefit. Each family is limited to six total covered sessions per year; however, if more are necessary, you may continue at the discounted $140 rate per session.
The coaching and counseling benefit that is being subsidized by the Baptist Resource Network is only available for lead or senior pastors. However, if other staff have need, they may pay the discounted rate of $140 per session.

We come alongside lead pastors in four ways:
RECREATION:
The BRN offers free Pastor Blessing events and gatherings, such as a day at the golf range or other special outings, for pastors, pastor couples and/or pastor families. These events provide pure fun and camaraderie with fellow ministry leaders. Please contact your local regional consultant to find out more about the Pastor Blessing opportunities in your region. RESPITE:
Ministry can be quite tiring. The BRN offers pastors and their wives free use of its Guest House in Harrisburg, as well as access to a list of other preapproved respite locations. The Volunteer House also is available for families to enjoy. Here is a list of ministry-vetted respite locations currently available.
RESTRENGTHENING:
The BRN seeks to provide wellbeing resources and events for pastors and church staff so they know they do not have to face ministry alone.
REASSURANCE:
GuideStone Financial Services serves churches and organizations with products and services that promote financial health and spiritual wellness. The BRN partners with GuideStone to provide free protection benefits and retirement contributions for qualified candidates. The BRN also offers Legacy and Estate Planning for churches, individuals and families.
