STEWARTSTOWN, Pa., (BRN) – On Sept. 21, Stewartstown Baptist Church in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania, hosted a “Free Sale” for its community.
The Free Sale functioned just like a yard sale, but with everything being free! Community members were greeted by Stewartstown volunteers and handed a bag for their goodies.
Additionally, the church set up a prayer table with Bibles, tracts, a prayer request box, Awana info, church information and invites to an upcoming free mental health workshop. The church also invited their local Human Life Services (pro life pregnancy center) to have a booth and provide information and answer questions.
Hotdogs, bottled water and ice cream were available to customers as they shopped the Free Sale.
Prayer volunteers had the opportunity to pray with five individuals, while the prayer request box received 12 prayer requests. On the following Sunday, Stewartstown saw three people attend worship who stopped by the Free Sale.
