PHILADELPHIA (BRN) – Harambe Baptist Church in Philadelphia is praising the Lord for holding back the rain on July 13, so we could still host our community picnic.

Although, due to the forecast, there were fewer people in attendance, the Lord still blessed us with a Holy Ghost fellowship with divine appointments!

He led us to pray for people on the streets (some people went to the nearby streets) and during the picnic. The gospel went forth in testimonies and song and the children were given book bags.

Parents and guardians were given food bags and family care bags. We also handed out these bags to people passing by in front of our church grounds.

We saw about 35 people attend and estimate that we had six gospel conversations. Although we do not know of any known salvations from this event, we know that seeds were planted and that God will give the growth!
