Hello, BRN Family! It’s good to be with you today.
As the executive director of the Baptist Resource Network, I want to share how much I appreciate our BRN churches’ dedication to missions, especially here in Pennsylvania/South Jersey. We all know how different ministry is here in the Northeast, and your knowledge and love for the region makes a huge impact!
That is why we are organizing mission opportunities right here in our own backyard!
On July 1, we officially opened registration for projects for this year’s #ServePASJ project in Erie, Pennsylvania, to be held on September 20-21. I am thrilled to say several churches and individuals have already signed up! It’s not too late for you to join them.
Projects include working with three Erie BRN churches and the Erie City Mission to prepare for and care for people in Pennsylvania’s poorest zip code. Projects include general maintenance, landscaping, a block party, and so much more!
By partnering with Erie’s Harbor Creek Community Church, Millcreek Community Church, and Walnut Creek Baptist Church, the Baptist Resource Network is making it easy for you and your team to have a lasting impact on the lives of Erie’s most vulnerable.
In addition to two days of service, participants are invited to a Celebration Rally at Walnut Creek Baptist Church on Saturday night from 5 – 7:30 p.m. We would love to celebrate your team as we enjoy dinner together, hear stories of impact from the day, hear about future partnership opportunities, and consider what is our next step on mission. The free dinner will be provided by the BRN’s very own disaster relief volunteers. Join us!
