Hi BRN Family, Elizabeth here, and it’s time for the June Top 5!

#1- This is it! July 1 marks the official opening of projects for this year’s #ServePASJ project in Erie, Pennsylvania, on September 20-21. Churches have the opportunity to serve in a variety of projects, including working in schools, serving refugees, doing light construction projects, and serving the city’s most vulnerable. Visit servepasj.com to sign up for your desired project and download training and promotional materials.

#2- Registration is now open for the October 8th Accelerate Conference to be held at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel in Grantville, Pa. This year’s conference will feature the theme, “Bold: Next Level” with Drs. Barry Whitworth and Larry Anderson as the keynote speakers, plus other guests. There will be twelve breakout session options that will challenge BRN churches and pastors to be bold in every aspect of ministry. Also, we will unveil a “Next Level” Blueprint designed to encourage and assist churches to move to their next level. Sign up today at acceleratepasj.com.

#3- Last week, you should have received materials highlighting this year’s #LovePASJ Week of Prayer and Offering for Missions in Pennsylvania/South Jersey. Though you can celebrate this emphasis any time of year, the official focus will be on August 11-18 this year. This vital offering supports collegiate ministry, compassion ministries, such as disaster relief and our ServePASJ projects, and care to pastors in crisis. You may learn more at brnunited.org/offering. Thank you.

#4- The Baptist Resource Network cares about the health of our pastors and their families, and we know ministry can be quite tiring. To help provide some respite, the BRN offers pastors and their wives free use of its Guest House in Harrisburg, as well as access to a list of other pre-approved respite locations. You can find this list of ministry-vetted respite locations currently available at brnunited.org/pastoral-wellness. Please take time to rest this summer. Know our prayers are with you!

#5- Just a reminder! Bless Every Home is a partner ministry of the BRN. As you are doing your summer outreach events, you can receive resources for church members to pray over their neighbors by name and detailed demographic reports for specific communities. The BRN also has other exegesis tools to help you understand baseline information about your neighborhoods, connect with “persons of peace,” and establish a new or stronger gospel footprint. To receive a demographic report for your church’s community or other exegesis materials, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@brnunited.org.

That’s all for July. Thanks for watching, BRN Family. We appreciate you and we are thankful for you!
