Human Trafficking Awareness Day/Month
January 11, 2020
January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month with Saturday, January 11, as Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Show your support on this day by wearing blue and share your pictures in blue on social media with the hashtag #wearblueday to create awareness and shine a light to everyone you know about Human Trafficking in support of the many around the world who are caught in slavery.
You can also add to your post on social medial a reason like:
- “Today I am wearing Blue to bring awareness to #humantrafficking”
- “I wear blue because (insert the reason why you are wearing blue) #wearblueday #endtrafficking”
- “I want to see an end to modern day slavery so I am wearing blue today!”
The National Human Trafficking Hotline number is 888-373-7888 Or text HELP to 233733 (be free).
At this number you can make an anonymous tip or leave your name and get a case number to report more information for possible ongoing situations. As always it’s important to remain safe and never engage a potential trafficking situation but alert the authorities to suspicious behavior! If you see something SAY something!
