WHO
We will be serving the Keystone Family Alliance ministry by building much needed beds for Faster Families.
WHY
The purpose of this project is to build beds for Foster families so that they can take foster placements. Without an adequate bed for a child Office of Children and Youth will not place children in willing foster homes. A Bed is the most requested item by foster families and the biggest hindrance to more foster placements. This organization is run by a woman in our church.
WHAT
We will be building beds from 2×4’s and 2×6’s. It will involve cutting, sanding, assembling and painting the beds. Volunteers would need some basic carpentry skills to work a miter saw, drills and sanders.
