Hello BRN Family! It’s good to be with you!

I know many of you are gearing up for your summer outreach, and I wanted to add my prayers to yours. May the Lord Jesus permeate your church. May He give you favor in your community, and may He draw the multitudes to Him. He is able!

As always, the Baptist Resource Network stands ready to assist you by offering evangelism grants for your summer ministries. You may apply for these grants, which can be used to support and promote your outreach events and evangelistic efforts at brnunited.org/grant.

I also wanted to remind you of an outstanding partnership that we have with North Carolina Baptists. For several years now, North Carolina’s Baptists on Mission have partnered with BRN churches in reaching communities for Christ through Backyard Bible Clubs, sports camps, evangelism, and other outreach activities. They also assist in providing leadership training and facility construction or renovation. We’re also forging a relationship with S.C. Baptists.

One church that has received the benefits of these mission teams is Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Let me tell you. Just this past weekend, they celebrated their 200th Baptism since starting their church 11 years ago.

What’s especially amazing is that 46 of those baptisms have come just in the last 12 months! Listen to what Pastor Tim Walker wrote on his Facebook page: “It’s so powerful when everyday people are equipped as disciple makers to take the gospel into their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, classrooms, and hangouts!” Praise God!

In another post, Tim wrote: “Being a part of the Baptist Resource Network has been the most powerful partnership Restored has had in our entire history. Many church networks will primarily offer either relationships or resources, but it’s rare to find one that offers both on a high level.”

We are so grateful for Pastor Tim’s encouraging feedback! Let’s all keep pushing forward to eradicate lostness in PA/SJ! Let’s stay on mission!

I know that several churches have mission teams coming this summer, but now is the perfect time to start planning for next summer. If your church is interested in hosting a mission team from North Carolina, you can fill out one (or more!) of the N.C. Partnership Volunteer Request Forms found on our website.

They will be glad to receive requests throughout the year, but most of their churches begin their missions planning 8-10 months in advance, so it would be ideal to make your request before September. While you are serving this summer, keep in mind that next summer will be here before you know it!

Also know we are praying for you! If you need anything, please always feel free to contact us at the Help Desk at helpdesk@brnunited.org or 717-652-5856.

As always, you are a blessing. Thanks for listening in.
