Ministry Leader: Brianna Batdorf (Director of Women’s Ministries) 

Big Woods Bible Church’s Women’s Ministry started a ministry to mothers with young children in the home. The season of mothering young ones at home can be isolating, so this ministry focuses on reaching out to women in that season and meeting them where they are with friendship and encouragement.

The ministry meets once a month during the morning for mothers who stay at home and then again in the evening for working mothers. These young mothers are invited to a time of fellowship over coffee, a devotional or word of encouragement from an older mother from the church whose children are grown and facilitated discussion.

Childcare is provided by men, teens, and senior church members to allow the mothers time to connect, refresh, and be encouraged in pursuing their role of a godly woman, wife, and mother.
