FREEPORT, Pa., (BRN) – On June 19, Expressway Baptist Church in Freeport, Pennsylvania, hosted Backyard Bible Clubs at the Sheldon Park Housing Projects in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania.
Before the event, church members met and went over what each team would be doing. Through the outreach event, members of Expressway Baptist Church provided a pop-up VBS-like experience for local children. This included a meal, for both parents and children prior to Backyard Bible Club, crafts, recreation, opening assembly, music and Bible lessons.
The church saw a total of 30 people attend and engaged in personal one-on-one gospel conversations as well as shared the gospel through Bible lessons. As a result, a total of 45 gospel conversations were had!
