Cody and Kristen Chester are part of a team that planted Christ Community Church South Brevard in Palm Bay, Florida, as part of the vision of First Baptist Church of Melbourne, Florida, to plant 10 churches in 10 years.
During the first few weeks after the church launched on Easter 2022, six people came to faith in Christ. Others were already interested in getting baptized. Cody says part of the reason the church saw immediate growth is that the Christ Community Church South Brevard core team bought into the vision completely and showed great passion in ministry.
Despite the early ministry fruit, Cody knows tough days will come in the life of the church plant, but he and his team are confident that the Lord will sustain them and their ministry to the Palm Bay area.
