Hello, BRN Family! It’s good to be with you today!
Several churches who are a part of the Baptist Resource Network have created internship programs within their communities. The intent of the programs is to care for the next generation and raise them up as Kingdom-minded leaders.
The Accelerated Internship Program was an idea birthed at one of the Baptist Resource Network’s most historic churches, Wrightsdale Baptist Church. It was then crafted to be an internship opportunity that could be extended to all BRN churches.
For churches, the program is an opportunity to mentor the next generation and meet needs in your local community by employing an aspiring young person.
For students, the Accelerated Internship is a 10-week paid summer internship that is on-site with a local church in the BRN. Students will be connected with a dynamic church that can give them a hands-on ministry experience and encouraging coaching in their desired area of ministry: kids ministry, youth ministry, music ministry, evangelism/outreach, discipleship, or pastoral. In addition, students will experience training content from the “Multiplication Pipeline” developed by the North American Mission Board (NAMB). At the end of 10 weeks, students will come away with more than just a certificate of completion. Potentially, they’ll have money in their pockets. Experience under their belts. Fresh fire in their soul. Friendships with a new church. Credits for college. Plus future connections with one of the largest church networks in the region. Scholarships are limited, so inquire now.
