Kansas City bridges two states and is the major city closest to the geographic center of the continental United States.
While living in a small, Missouri town, Don and Lanail Hamilton discovered a need for multiethnic churches where everyone could feel welcome. Sensing a burden to start a church, Don connected with NAMB’s Send Network and in 2021 planted Veer Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Since then, the Hamiltons have been able to reach people struggling to feel connected to a church.
Despite the challenges of trying to launch in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hamiltons say that being a plant with NAMB has meant that they have received love, care, and development.
THE COOPERATIVE PROGRAM is the financial fuel for reaching every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation. Your support through the Cooperative Program helps missionaries like the Hamiltons plant churches in areas where they are needed the most.
PRAY for the Hamiltons and Veer Church as they reach the Kansas City community with the Gospel of Jesus.
